About me, and the start of a blog
Hi,
This is the start of my blog. It was a dark and rainy night.... No, that's not right. Actually, soon I'll be heading off to a pre-workshop on exposure preparing for a weekend photography workshop being held at Gladding McBean. They have a world class architectural terra cotta facility - which is hidden behind all the massive clay pipes they make. The combination makes for a fascinating place to photograph.
Last year I went through a tour of the facility - here's a shot of one of the terra cotta objects - a lion's head (click for a larger version):
The workshop is sponsored by Viewpoint Gallery - a photography group associated with the Sacramento Archives and Museum Collection Center (SAMCC). I'll be posting pictures from this weekend's workshop on my Jengle PBase photography web pages.
